The Knights Apotheon
The sworn fellowship

The Knights Apotheon are members of the Order who have undertaken solemn oaths to uphold its principles and further its purpose. Their title comes from the Order’s other name, the Order of Apotheon.
Knighthood gives the Order’s charge the form of a lasting personal obligation: to cultivate creation, to preserve what carries meaning, and to uphold meaningful traditions and the conscious lives through which meaning is experienced. It is the highest degree of participation in the fellowship.
A knight need not be an artist. Teaching, historical preservation, care for others and the support of creative work may all give expression to the charge, and each knight is received on the offering of a work of their own.
Knights may admit new members to the fellowship and, with the approval the Order requires, confer knighthood upon others. The broad nature of their commitments is publicly known. The words of their oaths and the form of their ceremonies are kept within the Order.
The Order may also name Honorary Knights Apotheon, honoris causa, whose names are kept on the Roll of Honour. Knights, like all members, may wear the Ankh without distinction from associates. The Order may be reached through correspondence.
